This document supersedes the BTS Quality Standards for Clinically Significant Bronchiectasis in Adults, published in 2012. This document contains Quality Standards to be used in primary and secondary care for clinically significant bronchiectasis in adults (patients with the clinical syndrome of regular cough and sputum production, with or without recurrent chest infections and radiological confirmation of bronchiectasis). NICE Quality Standards and the 2021 NICE Quality Standards Process Guide 1 were used as a model for the development of BTS Quality Standards.
